A TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow of a travel blog to Sydney, Australia by TravelPod blogger Sebou titled "Off downunder" Sebou's travel blog entry: "Off to the land of the kangaroes, koalas, wombats, plantypus, the beautiful rain forest and beaches, along with teh great metropolises of Sydney and melbourne but also, deadly jellyfish (wont be able to swim near the coast in cairns as its jellyfish season), crocodiles (in rivers and in the sea), snakes (8 out of the 10 most deadly snakes in the world live here) great white shark (and a multitude of other dangerous ones), spiders (not sure about the facts but they got quite a few that can kill you). And if none of these get you, you might end up like Steve Erwin and just die stung through your heart by a sting ray.... First day followed some guys I met at the airport to their hostel. No room so walk around and quicklyfind room in another small and quaint hostel. Next day headed off to Bondi beach a citycenter beach [at the east from town] with two German girls and spent all day at the beach, ate at some fastfood place but had swordfish and fries at the place fo plane fish a chips and it was really nice. Next day went off to the Opera house with two English fellars, walked through the botanic gardens on the way, really nice.Walked around the CBD and then went off to th rocks [the old part of time] and enjoyed the contrasting calm and serenity. That night went off to a nightclub with most everybody from the hostel, I got refuse ...
